The accommodation is spread over three floors and boasts a private garden which leads down to the shore. The master bedroom, on the top floor, is a stunning room with floor to ceiling French doors and windows looking seaward which leads out onto an external balcony with glass panelled balustrade. This room is wonderfully light and airy. There are also easy chairs and a sofa to relax in and enjoy the view. All bedrooms are beautifully coordinated with tasteful interior design. The lounge, on the ground floor, has patio doors leading out into the garden, a lovely wood burning stove and dining area. The kitchen is newly fitted and well equipped. There are lots of things to see and do, with stunning scenery all round - a wonderful rocky west coast shoreline, with shingle beaches and an abundance of wildlife from seals to otters. There has also recently been a program to re introduce beavers back into this countryside - so keep the binoculars handy. This area offers great walks, bird watching, kayaking and sea fishing. Quieter back roads make ideal cycle routes as well as many forestry trails in the surrounding countryside. This central location means you can easily travel to Kilmartin Glen with over 350 ancient monuments to find and explore. An area rich in historical legacy, the Kilmartin House Museum is a must visit; as is the ancient Capital of Dalriada at Dunadd, it once was one of the most important places in Scotland - where kings were anointed. Heading further north/west you will find quaint villages, like Tayvallich, Ardfern to name a few, and stunning scenery. Oban is about an hour's drive away which has a larger selection of shops, a cinema, a distillery, McCaigs Tower and the ferry terminal to Mull & Iona, Coll, Tiree and Colonsay. South you can explore down to the Kintyre peninsula, explore the charming harbour at Tarbert, access the ferry to Islay and Jura or travel to Campbeltown for a spot of golfing on either of the two "Great Scottish Links Collection" courses. Then east is Inveraray which makes a great day trip with visits to its ancient Jail, Castle and Tall Ship.
